Racing Ahead In Dubai

Aqua Cooling have been instrumental in the installation of two equestrian walkers at a state of the art equestrian centre in the Dubai desert.
The 18 metre diameter walkers are used in the advanced training of racing and endurance horses.  By using specially cooled water to excercise the animals, their heart beats are raised to aerobic level which in turn improves their stamina and muscle condition.  In addition, by using cooled sea water, the walkers can be crucial in aiding the recovery of injured horses. 
Aqua were responsible for the complete installation of the chiller units and complex pumping and filtration systems.  Each chiller is capable of 130kW output and has extremely low noise emmitance.   The filtration systems had to go down to just 1 micron to allow for the walkers switching between conventional water and sea water.

Air conditioning – our water chillers can be supplied in various formats, from complete systems to condenser sets or evaporator packages. We offer various refrigerants and either scroll reciprocating or screw compressors.

Energy saving – with current concerns over rising energy costs and carbon emission levels, we have developed a special range of products designed to maximise energy efficiency. The units either use the ambient air to reduce the energy required to operate the system (free cooling) or they reclaim energy from the refrigeration system (heat recovery). We work closely alongside the Carbon Trust and a number of our clients have already benefited from their interest free Energy-Efficiency Loan scheme.
