Our Sales, Hire and Service teams support customers from every industry sector, whether they are looking to purchase, hire or maintain equipment. Products include process chillers, adiabatic, dry air & free coolers, cooling towers, temperature control units, boilers, air conditioning units and portable heaters. The Company has a clearly defined growth plan over the coming years which will offer employees training and development opportunities. Due to our continued growth, we are seeking to expand our production team.

The Role

The role is to work as part of a team in preparing and despatching customer orders. This role encompasses both indoor and outdoor working, some heavy lifting and at times inclement weather conditions.

The working environment is within the warehouse where strict heath and safety rules apply.

Responsibilities:

• Picking and packing of customer orders
• Stock control – storing and locating stock
• Testing of equipment
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas
• Assisting colleagues and working as a team in order to meet customer needs
• All employees are responsible for their own safety and are required to adhere to the company health and safety policies and working practices
• Adhering to warehouse operational procedures, rules and schedules

Competency Skills:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Full driving licence
• Physical strength and dexterity
• You will have the ability of working on your own initiative
• Hands on approach of working within a warehouse environment
• Team orientated approach to the workplace
• Knowledge of mechanical or electrical engineering would be an advantage but not essential as would previous experience of working within a warehouse environment

• The job holder will have an aptitude for mechanical engineering with a desire to gain a qualification in Mechanical & Refrigeration Engineering at College in the future.

Employment Type

• Full-time (37.5 hours a week) 
• Hours 07:30 to 16:30
• Role is subject to overtime
