Hampshire-based cooling specialist Aqua Cooling has announced further expansion with the appointment to its team of a new UK Sales Manager. The move reflects the company’s continued commitment to domestic market growth alongside the international success of its multi-award winning cooling solutions in Europe, the USA, Asia and beyond.
An experienced engineer, Matt O’Connor has successfully held various project management, sales and technical support roles across the industry and has worked for leading industry players including Trane (UK) Ltd and Johnson Controls. He will be based at Aqua’s Fareham headquarters, although he expects to spend much of his time on the move, working in the field.
Inspired by Aqua’s clear vision, Matt is excited to be part of the innovative team driving the company’s success. “Customers want a UK solutions provider that consistently delivers technical excellence and proactive customer service and, for me, Aqua is this company.
“Values such as care and commitment to delivering great service every day to customers fit my work ethic perfectly and I’m looking forward to making a valuable contribution to the whole business. It’s a team with big ambitions and I relish the challenge!” said Matt.
The dynamic company, whose Leak Prevention System (LPS) earned a 2015 Queen’s Award for Enterprise (Innovation) and last year won an Institute of Physics’ Commended Innovation Award, is adding to its workforce in order to meet a growing demand for its multi-award cooling technology.
Simon Davis, Aqua Cooling Sales Director, said:“We’re delighted that Matt has joined us at Aqua. We believe that strengthening our team is an excellent way to ensure we give the best possible service as we continue to expand.”
Matt joins a team of more than 50 Aqua employees working on a number of exciting contracts throughout the UK. The company also has a USA-based sister company, QCooling, based in Dallas, Texas.
