Short-Term Boiler Hire
Ham House is a historic National Trust property situated near Richmond, London. Originally built in 1610 and situated besides the River Thames, the house is described as “unique in Europe as the most complete survival of 17th century fashion and power.” Designated by Historic England as a listed, Grade 1 building, the building’ gardens and park are listed at Grade II.
When Ham House’s Boiler failed during the winter months an alternative heating source needed to be located and installed as quickly as possible. Aqua were contacted by the mechanical and electrical contractor responsible for maintaining the property and a site visit was arranged.
Once on site an engineer ascertained the most efficient and cost effective temporary solution, with the aim of getting the heating reinstated to Ham House as quickly as possible.
Aqua supplied a 250kW Hire Boiler for an initial 12 week hire period. There was an option for the hire to be easily extended should it take longer than anticipated to get the main boiler system back up and running. The Aqua team delivered and installed the boiler within days to ensure Ham House, it’s staff and visitors were feeling the heat again – quite literally!
