How our design service works
The process will begin with an initial site visit, where one of our Cooling Specialists will talk through the operating parameters and finer details of your specific process. They’ll make sure they fully understand the application, and any challenges or restrictions you’re facing.
Our in-house designers will then create your product or system, using AutoCAD and 3D modelling. This is all completely free of charge and without obligation. For us it’s simply a way of ensuring we deliver exactly what your business needs.
OEM Design & Bespoke Units
We custom build chillers, and bespoke cooling skids, to order. Our Engineers are highly experienced, technical specialists, and their knowledge is second to none.
They ensure you don’t just get the best product, but that it also integrates seamlessly into your process. We’re proud to have established long-term relationships with OEM clients from a range of industry sectors, the evidence we believe of our technical capability and great customer service.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does Aqua's design and installation service cover?
Aqua’s design and installation service covers everything from initial system design including AutoCAD drawings and 3D modelling through to civil works, equipment positioning, pipework installation, electrical connections, commissioning, and CDM compliance management. We also have an in-house mechanical services team who manufacture pipework and bespoke packaged skids.
Can Aqua design a system for a complex or unusual application?
Yes. Aqua’s engineering team has experience across a very wide range of industries and applications. If you have a challenging brief the best approach is to contact us early in your project so we can get involved in the design from the start.
Will Aqua manage the full project from design through to commissioning?
Yes. Aqua can act as your single point of contact from design through to handover. This avoids the coordination issues that arise when multiple contractors are involved and means accountability for the finished system sits clearly with one team.
What accreditations do Aqua's installation engineers hold?
Aqua’s engineers are F-Gas accredited and Gas Safe registered where relevant. All work is carried out in accordance with agreed RAMS and site-specific health and safety requirements. Aqua is also REFCOM and Safe Contractor accredited.
Can Aqua carry out a system redesign or upgrade on an existing installation?
Yes. Aqua’s engineers can survey an existing system, identify improvement opportunities, and carry out upgrades or replacements. Whether you need to increase capacity, improve energy efficiency, or replace aging equipment we can manage the project from survey to completion.
Environmental Test Chamber Cooling Solution Helps OEM
An environmental test chamber is a controlled, enclosed space where various conditions can be simulated for testing purposes. They’re used to evaluate the effect that things like temperature, humidity, altitude & vibration have on materials, objects, or systems. Ben Newman, Aqua’s OEM Specialist, explains how we supported an OEM client with a custom design solution for a test chamber cooling application for their end user customer.
